We are Proud to Announce Exciting Group Therapy Opportunities

The Wisconsin Community Mental Health Counseling Center will be offering various group therapy sessions beginning in October 2011. Group therapy sessions give clients the unique opportunity to participate in a safe and comfortable setting, where diverse experiences and backgrounds are shared by others struggling with similar situations. For clients participating in the S.M.A.R.T program through WCMHCC, group therapy sessions can be attended in addition to individual therapy sessions.

In Mequon we are offering:

Strong of Heart Gathering
• This group is designed specifically for loved ones supporting someone in recovery
• Individuals in recovery are also encouraged to attend
• Begins 6 October 2011, with subsequent sessions will be held every two weeks, Thursdays 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
• The cost is $25 per family each session

HOW DO YOU APPROACH WORKING WITH CLIENTS?
I work at accentuating the positive and focus on the strengths of the client. One goal is to help the client recognize and appreciate their own creativity. I also take a holistic approach and explore the mind-body-spirit with each individual.
