Offering a Unique First Offender Identification, Intervention, and Redirection Program

Domestic Abuse/Violence Program

Involvement in the Wisconsin Community Mental Health Counseling Centers Domestic Violence Program allows a client to examine their lives, realize they can control abusive behavior, and take the first steps in learning to live without violence. This objective is accomplished through:
• Comprehensive initial assessment
• Group involvement (chemical use, primary treatment and domestic violence groups)
• Individual therapy
• Marital therapy
• Family therapy
Upon successful completion of the Domestic Abuse/Violence Program, clients and their families may be referred to appropriate community resources for follow up services, or self-help support groups. Program evaluations are continuous and include objective and subjective information provided by clients.

Adolescent Behavioral Health Services
Wisconsin Community Mental Health Counseling Centers offers an intensive outpatient program providing an intermediate level of care and in-depth counseling. It serves as a stepdown from either inpatient or partial hospital level of care, as well as prevention for further escalation in crisis. We believe parents, and siblings all play an important role in helping teens make positive changes in their lives. Therefore, family involvement is an essential part of the program and one of its biggest strengths. Guidance which addresses communication, parenting skills, and use of consequences allows parents to take an active role, using dignity and respect in their child’s life.

Chemical Dependency Treatment
Wisconsin Community Mental Health Counseling Centers uses a comprehensive chemical use assessment and develops an individual Treatment plan for chemically dependent clients which utilizes existing inpatient, a treatment programs or our own outpatient program. Our treatment plans may include a wide range of services:
• AA/NA group meetings and sponsors
• Medication management (i.e. Suboxone, Antabuse)
